Salina Szady
Salina was born to be a helper. When she was younger, she was the church babysitter and was always in demand, often booking months in advance. Later on in life, she found that many people were often drawn to her, for her abilities in cooking, sewing, and many other things, as well as her ability to listen and really be heard. She loves serving others and making life easier for them.
While on her own journey to figure out how to prevent postpartum depression (after suffering greatly with her own two children), she was introduced to placenta encapsulation. While learning all there was about the placenta, this opened the door to becoming a doula. She has now seen that there are many aspects and ways that parents would want help on their journey into new parenthood or into adding another one to the family. She is always seeking out other things parents would want.
Salina is a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist™, a labor and postpartum doula, childbirth education and soon to be sleep trainer. She is an avid book reader, and crafter. Salina is a daughter, wife, mother, and friend. She lives in Safford with her high school sweetheart and together they have two wonderful children.
Elizabeth Henley
Elizabeth Henley has lived in southern Arizona since she was a young girl. After living mostly in Maryland and Scotland as a child, Elizabeth spent her adolescence in Sierra Vista and went to college in Thatcher, Tucson, and Chicago. She became a doula because of her passion for maternal health. It is her goal to empower families in their birth choices through Childbirth Education, Labor Doula services, Postpartum Doula services, and other doula opportunities. She is also a theatre artist and works at Eastern Arizona College as a guest director and adjunct instructor. Elizabeth and her husband, Jeff, live in Thatcher with their three children (Jackson, Connor, and Eloise) and two dogs (Doris Day and Lucky). In their spare time, their family likes to go exploring on Mt. Graham, in the Gila Box, or other beautiful places in our unique region of Arizona.
